Doctor Who Adversaries – Captain Wrack

We’ve sailed along to the Fifth Doctor this time, to discuss two of the least convincing adversaries I think we’ll cover.

Doctor Who Adversaries

In each episode of “Doctor Who Adversaries”, we talk a look at a nemesis of the good Doctor.

  • I think the white guardian was wearing Gulliver the seagull on his head from Fingermouse!

  • Another great podcast on a truly dodgy story. A cross between a pantomime and something E Nesbit may have written if she had been alive at the time and asked to contribute to doctor who. I had never seen this one before and most probably won’t see it again. Leee john is terrible in this but I feel there was an even worse acting performance by Rick James in The Mutants ( jon pertwee). I am originally from the uk and moved to new zealand 20 years ago aged 34. I grew up watching sci-fi and horror, mainly liking British stuff the most. I followed your Blakes 7 podcast which I thought was excellent. I can’t wait for the Timelash episode and I am sure I will have a stupid smirk on my face at work while I listen. all the best from nz.

E Nesbit would have written if she had been hanging around the BBC in the early 80s and asked to write for who. Love the podcast and can’t wait for Timelash. all the best from nz..

  • Sorry about the double up on comments, the longer original one did not seem to post so i followed up with a shorter one?
