  • Hello Eric, loved the movie Robocop and enjoyed you and Dave’s discussion about the two effects.

I see ED-209 as the perfect corporate response to dealing with this crime contract: cheap! It’s cheaply made with substandard parts and will be sold for probably a 1,000% markup. Probably not much more than basic research was ever done in it’s development.

It’s funny y’all mentioned Michael Douglas and Romancing the Stone. When I went to see Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in a two-screen theater, Romancing the Stone was the other movie playing. When ToD started the way it did, I was thoroughly convinced that they had gotten the movies mixed up and was elated when Indiana Jones finally appeared on screen.

I can take or leave Michael Douglas, but Entrapment was a good movie.

I also think there is enough good stuff in Robocop to warrant another viewing (or else Clarence Boddicker might put his foot up your ass!)

Great show and as always, keep up the good work!
