Another great podcast. Good to see Liberator’s defence system back in this episode for the first time since Space Fall, but why doesn’t it attack the Caliph earlier on when he enters the flight desk? Have I discovered another plot hole to add to the large number in your podcast? Also do you know whether the Thaarn was meant to be a recurring villain? I wonder why we never see him again?

James Follett, this episode’s credited writer, did seem unable to produce a story consistent with our characters but he has at least one sci-fi story you would like and find praiseworthy: Earthsearch, a radio play that has a sequel series too. It follows a generational ship looking to preserve humanity. Another winner from him, radio again, was “The Light Of A Thousand Suns”, but it’s Cold War setting not space.
