This was the first time I seen Davros as I was 8 years old. My parents wouldn’t let me watch Dr Who until The hand of fear in 76 as they thought it was to frightening. So from there on it made a big impact. Destiny was really exciting and scary when the Daleks smashed through the wall. I just excepted Davros as a scary monster with no need of a back story. I watched it on a small black and white portable round my Aunties house eating ham rolls and salt n vinegar crisps. Seems like yesterday. I can’t think of any kid that would have the same memories with new Who like we did. Good old days.
