The malt-forward, sweet, clean, and often complex nature of a Scottish Ale is a unique and usually phenomenal experience. An experience that I rarely get to enjoy because they just aren’t brewed frequently by my local breweries. To get that malty fix, I have to take matters into my own hands this episode and brew a Scottish Export Ale.
